Toreador owns primarily nonoperated working interests in
about 900 exploratory and development oil and gas wells primarily
in Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. These
holdings enable the company to participate in a domestic
drilling program with low-to-moderate risk.
